In 2026, I completed a bucket-list dream of mine: a 3 week trip across Japan. I can’t remember what initially inspired my love for Japan all those years ago, but I have always felt a gravitational pull towards the Land of the Rising Sun. Nintendo, Haruki Murakami, Ramen, Studio Ghibli. All my favourite things condensed in one place. It just so happens to be a 13hr flight away. Below are some of my favourite images from all across the country.
